Welcome to the Potters House Christian Church in Holloway. We're a local church who's vision is to reach out to local people, helping those in need and being a support in the local community. Jesus Christ has changed our lives and we share our faith in Him because He has given us a new start, a hope and a bright future. We're passionate about changing our community for the better, and we believe that we can make a difference in the lives of the future generations to come. Not necessarily by the works of our own hands but through the power of Jesus Christ, changing one individual at a time, through repentance of sins and restoration of the lost soul.
We are a Pentecostal church, part of a worldwide fellowship of churches that began out of the Jesus People Movement in the early 1970's. The Prescott church was established under Pastor Wayman and Sister Nelda Mitchell, who have served God faithfully in the local church fulfilling Christ's great commission to, "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Many people have given their lives to Jesus Christ since these humble beginnings, many churches have been planted and lives have been transformed.
Pastor Chris & Lilian Gorman
My wife and I have been married for 17 years, and we became born again Christians over 20 years ago. Having previously pioneered in Romford, Essex, we took over the leadership of the Holloway Church in 2014, along with our lovely two children.
"The Potter's House Church is a growing, multicultural congregation in the heart of Holloway. We are a Bible-based, Spirit filled church with a passion for Jesus, a love for people & a call to reach those who do not yet know God."
You're welcome at the Potter's House Christian Centre Holloway, and to be part of our church family.
Come and be a part of what God is doing in our community.
